The Islamabad High Court has disposed of NAB’s application seeking the cancellation of PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif’s bail in Avanfield reference terming it ineffective, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The IHC bench comprising Justice Amir Farooq and Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kiyani heard the case on Wednesday. 

NAB Deputy Prosecutor General Sardar Muzaffar Abbasi presented the case before the court.

The court has dismissed the NAB’s application on grounds of being ineffective. The applicant prayed to the court to cancel Nawaz’s bail in Avanfield reference.

However, the court adjourned the NAB’s plea to extend Nawaz’s sentence in Al Azizia reference till Sept 21.

The IHC also adjourned NAB’s application against the acquittal of Nawaz in Flagship reference till Sept 28.
