Fatima Zahra guarantees Pakistan's first Commonwealth Games boxing medal

Pakistan female boxer Fatima Zahra advanced to the semifinals of the women's 60kg category with an impressive victory in the Commonwealth Games, 24NewsHD TV reported on Tuesday. 

Fatima Zahra booked her place in the last four by defeating New Zealand's Jordan Wilson in the quarterfinals, guaranteeing Pakistan at least a bronze medal under the competition's format.

With the historic achievement, Fatima Zahra is set to become the first Pakistani woman boxer to win a medal at the Commonwealth Games.
