Father shoots daughter for marrying man of her choice

A young girl was injured on Tuesday when her father opened fire on her for marrying a man of her choice in Layyah, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Aswa Rani received serious injuries and was rushed to the THQ Hospital in the Fatehpur area of Layyah.

Aswa Rani’s father had a grudge after she had married a man of her choice, namely Ameen, about a year ago.

Fatehpur Police Station personnel were conducting inquiry into the incident.
