Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader and former finance minister Ishaq Dar Tuesday said that he is getting ready to go back to Pakistan next month and that he will swear in as a senator, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
In an interview to British Broadcasting Company (BBC), Ishaq Dar expressed optimism that some of his medical issues will be treated in the upcoming 10 to 12 days, as expected by his doctors, who expect it to happen soon.
Ishaq Dar, who resides in London and has been there since 2017, said that there is just one case against him in Pakistan, which is fake case filed by Imran Khan.
Ishaq Dar asserted that the fictitious case against him had no foundation and that it was based only on his tax return.
The former finance minister claimed that Interpol was contacted to extradite him to Pakistan but that the documents it received were insufficient and that Interpol cleared him of all charges.
