May 9 riots: Forensic report shows presence of PTI office-bearers at different spots

Forensic report regarding the Jinnah House attack on May 9 made important revelations.

The report of photogrammetric test and facial comprehension has shown the presence of the accused including PTI office-bearer Ijaz Chaudhry at various spots.

A group of miscreants carrying clubs, sticks and party flags was spotted at Sherpao Bride at 4:47 pm, the report states, adding that a mob was at the Mall of Lahore at 5:25 pm

A group of motorcyclists blocked the road in front of the Fortress Chowk at 5:57 and a mob gathered at Fortress Chowk at 6:18 while another group of miscreants blocked MS Chowk at 6:45

Miscreants blocked CSD at 8:40 pm.

PTI members took to the streets to vent their spleen against the arrest of ex-premier Imran Khan in a corruption case last month.

They attacked public property, state assets and sensitive installations. They storm GHQ in Rawalpindi, Jinnah House in Lahore and Radio Pakistan office in Peshawar.

Innocent people were killed and the riots left a trail of destruction. A number of key PTI figures parted ways with chairman Imran Khan and condemned the May 9 incidents.

Authorities launched a hunt for miscreants to bring them to book.
