CM Maryam directs to provide maximum electric buses to South Punjab

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz directed the provision of maximum electric buses to different districts of South Punjab, reported 24NewsHd TV channel Saturday.

She gave these directives while presiding over a special meeting in Lahore. She said that 600 more electric buses will reach Punjab.

Maryam Nawaz said that she wanted to provide buses as per requirements of general public.

She directed that we should think about the welfare of the common man. She said that that electric buses should be provided to people living in far-flung areas of the province.

Maryam Nawaz directed to provide these buses on priority basis. The Chief Minister said that we should try to change the culture as brought rural areas as per the standards of urban areas.

Maryam Nawaz said that all districts are equal for her. She said that people should avail opportunities of progress and development equally.

All participants of the meeting also reviewed progress on BRT system being introduced in Gujranwala.
