Greedy female owner commits ‘robbery’ in her own house

Police in Lahore solved a mysterious theft case involving millions of rupees and arrested two accused including the female owner of the house, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

A Women Police Station team made the arrests with the help of latest technology.

The incident took place in the jurisdiction of Race Couse Police Station in Lahore.

The SHO of Race Course Women Police Station said that the owner of the house hatched a plan to commit robbery in her own house with the help of her driver who decamped with cash worth Rs10.6 million and 40 tolas of gold.

The female owner also arranged a pistol for the driver to commit robbery.

After he committed the crime, the woman took the driver to a deserted place, received looted money and jewellery and then shot him dead.

SP Civil Lines Police Station Chaudhary Asr Ali said that the woman admitted that she intended to commit a robbery driven by greed for money and jewellery. 

He further revealed that the police recovered cash, gold, and a pistol from the accused.

He said that protection and security of people is police's top priority.
