United Kingdom High Commissioner Christian Turner on Saturday said the latest update on flights will cause further concerns for the British nationals anxious to get home.
In a tweet, Turner said they were in talks with the Pakistan government about what could be done and working hard to assist the vulnerable.

Earlier on Friday, the UK High Commission, in a reaction to the news of cancelling the planned PIA flights to the United Kingdom, said they were discussing the issue with the Pakistani government.
In a series of tweets, it asked the British nationals to contact Qatar Airways and travel agents.

“Having already operated flights on 25 and 26 March, we understand the Qatar Airways is planning to operate daily flights from Islamabad until 3 April,” the tweet read.
The high commission also shared an earlier advisory that asked the British nationals to return to the UK.

It says, “As countries respond to the COVID-19 pandemic, including travel and border restrictions, the FCO advises British nationals against all but essential international travel.
“Any country or area may restrict travel without notice. If you live in the UK and are currently travelling abroad, you are strongly advised to return now, where and while there are still commercial routes available. Many airlines are suspending flights and many airports are closing, preventing flights from leaving.”
The statement came after the PIA on Thursday cancelled special flights to four selected destinations including London, Manchester, Birmingham and Toronto.
