The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s Mehangai Mukao March reached Sarai Alamgir last night from where it will head to its final destination - Islamabad at 2pm today (Monday), reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The PML-N marchers will reach the federal capital today where the political temperature is on the boiling point as the National Assembly might adopt the no-confident motion today and the Supreme Court is also hearing the presidential reference today.

The anti-inflation march is being led by PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz and Opposition leader in the Punjab Assembly Hamza Shehbaz. The marchers will be greeted at Jado Chowk in Jhelum.

Jhelum city is adorned with welcome banners and party hoardings by the PML-N office-bearers.

During her address to the party workers in Gujranwala last night, Maryam dubbed Prime Minister Imran Khan as a ‘rat’.

She called the premier ill-mannered, liar, incapable and a loser who was trying hard to save his government from no-confidence motion brought in by the joint opposition.

Maryam heaped praise on her father ex-PM Nawaz Sharif for what she called his sacrifices for the sake of the motherland.

Replying to Imran’s allegations regarding Nawaz’s ‘secret meetings’ in London, she said that all the meetings he was holding was in the best interest of the country.

She said, “The loser is returning to the pavilion. If you had secrets, bring them to public. If I open my mouth, the cases of corruption will open against Imran.”

She claimed the institutions belonged to Nawaz and this country also belonged to Nawaz. “He is the son of the soil. The people of Pakistan have elected him prime minister thrice and will elect him again as they love him,” she added.

On the other hand, the JUI activists who reached Islamabad on March 26, they spent last night in camps which were popped up on both sides of the Srinagar Highway.

JUI Chief and PDM President Maulana Fazlur Rehman while censuring the premier said that Imran Khan was in opposition’s grip adding that they would bring him to any public square of their choice. “He (PM) is mad to hurl threats to the opposition leaders,” the Maulana said.
