Two persons drowned on Monday after a speeding car plunged into Rohri Canal on Bandhi Road near Moro city, Naushahro Feroze, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to police and rescue sources, four people were on the way from Moro city to a party in Bandhi town when the car they were travelling in plunged into Rohri Canal.

Resultantly, all of them were submerged in the water. On information, rescue teams reached the spot and rescued two of them.

The other two identified as Shahrukh and Kaleemullah drowned in the canal.

The local divers succeeded in fishing out the body of Shahrukh, whereas, the body of Kaleemullah could not be found.
