Robbers looted an ambulance carrying a body in Shikarpur, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Tuesday.

According to police, the gruesome incident occurred on Khanpur Indus Highway.

The lawmen said the outlaws robbed the driver and the persons who were taking the body to Kandkot 

Reportedly, more than Rs20, 000 cash and mobile phones were snatched from them.

Police have registered a case and launched a hunt for the crooks.
