Alizeh Shah stands up for actress Aina Asif amid on-set bullying
Pakistani television star Alizeh Shah has voiced her support for rising actress Aina Asif, who recently spoke out about facing mistreatment and bullying on drama sets.
Taking to Instagram, Alizeh praised Aina’s talent and emotional intelligence, highlighting the challenges young actors especially those without industry connections often encounter behind the scenes.
She shared Aina’s reel on her Instagram story with a strong message of solidarity. “BIGGEST STARS SOMETIMES SHOW A CASUAL DISREGARD FOR YOU OR LOOK DOWN ON YOU ON SET. Aina Asif is one of the best actors of our generation and a very emotionally intelligent person.
She’s right about everything, and sadly, this only happens with underage girls, especially those whose backgrounds are not from showbiz. Proud of her for sharing this with everyone,” Alizeh wrote.

The young actress, known for Mayi Ri, had previously opened up about the challenges she faces as a junior actor. She described instances of unnecessary criticism, mocking, and disengagement from co-actors and senior cast members during emotionally demanding scenes.
Aina shared that such behavior can disrupt her performance, but she has learned to maintain her composure and focus on her craft.
Alizeh’s public backing of Aina has amplified the conversation around the treatment of underage and outsider actors in the industry, highlighting issues of respect, mentorship, and ethical behavior on sets.
