6 PIA flights brought back 1,200 Pakistanis from Saudi Arabia

Pakistan International Airlines special flight brought back 147 Pakistanis from Jeddah to Lahore on Thursday.
According to the details, PIA special flight flew from Jeddah and landed at Allama Iqbal International Airport on Thursday. All the passengers were shifted to quarantine facility and hotels as part of the SOPs issued by the Civil Aviation Authority.
Pakistan Consul General in Jeddah Khalid Majeed saw off the Pakistanis at the Jeddah airport. So far 1,200 Pakistanis repatriated from Jeddah through six special flights operated by the national flag carrier. The repatriation of Pakistanis is also continuing from other cities of the Saudi Arabia. Pakistan Consul General in Riyadh is also planning special repatriation flights for Pakistanis.
The PIA spokesperson had said that the nationals returned home through PIA special flights operated in Saudi Arabia, Canada, Turkey, Japan, Australia, USA, United Arab Emirates (UAE) and United Kingdom (UK).
Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) had repatriated 43,900 people through 117 special flights, said the spokesperson for national flag carrier.
