Budget Demands: Govt employees announce protest march in Islamabad on June 3
All Government Employees Grand Alliance (APEGA) Friday announced to hold a protest march in Islamabad on June 3 for implementation on their demands in the upcoming federal budget fiscal 2021-22.
According to 24NewsHD TV Channel, alliance head Rehman Bajwa would lead the protest march as a reminder for the government to implement its promises with the government employees.
The APEGA protest march would be started from Secretariat Chowk and finished at the Parliament House.
The alliance leadership also warned the government that they would wait for fulfilling the promises from the federal government till June 10—a day before presenting the budget in the parliament—and in the case of ignorance, they would hold a sit-in in front of the Parliament House on the Budget Day—June 11, 2021.
The Alliance head Rehman Bajwa while talking to media persons urged the government to fulfil its promises with the employees and also honoured the written agreement of the Ministers’ Committee in this regard.
The APEGA leader also reiterated the basic demand of the government employees and urged them to enhance their basic pay them.
