First case of Indian coronavirus variant emerges in Pakistan

The Ministry for National Health Friday confirmed that the first case of an Indian variant of coronavirus had been traced in Pakistan.
According to 24NewsHD TV Channel, the World Health Organization had already declared the Indian variant of coronavirus much severe than the British or African variants and it had now reached Pakistan.
According to the WHO, the Indian variant could spread at an alarming pace.
Pakistani government confirmed that as many as seven cases of South African variant and one case of Indian variant have been traced in the country.
The government confirmed that this was the first case of an Indian type of virus in Pakistan and it had also started the contact tracing of both the variants in the country.
Ministry of Health had emphasized the following guidelines to avoid these variants properly especially by using mask and through vaccination.
As per reports of the National Health Ministry of Pakistan, the Indian variant of Covid-19 was confirmed during the corona tests administered in the last three weeks.
