A woman Friday confessed to killing her three children through poisoning due to poverty in Multan.

According to 24NewsHD TV Channel, the female accused, Sameera Bibi was a resident of Hamidpur Kanura, Multan, and poisoned her children with the help of her husband, Khadim Hussain yesterday (Thursday).

The husband and wife duo had poisoned their children over poverty.

According to Superintendent Police (SP) Cantt Kamran Amir, after the killing of children, Khadim Hussain also got depressed by his act and took the poison himself and died on the spot.

Sameera Bibi was arrested by the Multan police on the doubts raised by the brothers of Khadim Hussain.

SP Kamran Amir said the accused, Sameera Bibi, has confessed before the Multan police.

Multan Police also found a poisonous solution of medicine from the backyard of Sameera Bibi’s House in Hamidpur on her indications and sent it to a forensic laboratory as proof of the crime.

Anyhow, Superintendent Police (SP) Cantt Kamran Amir has given a clean chit to a quack named Dr. Saleem for his involvement in the case.
