The seats of secretaries have been lying vacant in four departments of the Punjab government for quite some time now, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday. 

One such department is that of Higher Education where no one has been posted for several months now. 

To make matters further worse, as many as 10 secretaries have been changed in the department during the last three years. 

The post of secretary is also vacant in the Department of Information and Culture. 

The seat of secretary P&D is also vacant these days. 

And lastly, the secretary’s post is also vacant in the Department of Primary Healthcare. 

Ali Jan Khan, who is serving there temporarily, will continue to discharge his functions.
