Former prime minister and PTI Chairman Imran Khan will chair the party’s core committee meeting in Peshawar today, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday. 

Quoting sources, the channel reported that members of the committee would discuss the feasibility of setting out on another long march towards Islamabad if the government did not announce the date for general elections. 

Consultations would also be held that if the party did march on Islamabad for the second time; then whether it should be in six days’ time as announced by the PTI chairman at the end of the last march, sources disclosed. 

PTI leaders, including Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Pervaiz Khattak, Shah Farman, Asad Umar and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Mehmood Khan, will attend the meeting.
