The administration at the Lahore’s Safari Park has decided to put on auction a number of lions after their increased population made it difficult for them to look after them, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The Safari Park ran short of space as the number of lions which were 15 sometime ago has now swelled to 29. So, the administration has decided to auction ten to 12 lions.
The administration planned to sell the lions next week.
Safari Zoo Director Tanveer Janjua said the auction was aimed at to cut on the number of lions so that the breeding process could be carried out in a better environment.
