The federal government has transferred three deputy inspector generals (DIGs) to the Intelligence Bureau (IB), reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday. 

The federal government has transferred DIG Sajid Kayani, DIG Sohail Habib Tajik and DIG Shabir Akbar to the Intelligence Bureau. 

Earlier, the federal government appointed Fuad Asadullah Khan as Director-General of Intelligence Bureau (IB). Fuad, a BS-21 officer of the IB, was working as Commandant, IB Academy, has now been posted under section 10 of the Civil Servants Act, 1973, with immediate effect and until further orders.
