Pakistan International Airline (PIA) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Amir Hayat announced that three planes will be inducted in the national carrier fleet next week, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Amir Hayat shared this in presentation of an annual report before the PIA shareholders meeting where he maintained that the national airline’s revenue was reduced in 2021 in comparison to 2020 but PIA earned Rs2.5billion operational profit in the last quarter.

He shared the challenges being faced by the PIA that PIA is still facing unequal rehabilitation from the COVID-19 era.

The PIA boss pinned hopes of more revenue and profit with administrative measures and routes resumption.

Amir Hayat said that an IATA consultant made the PIA five year business plan and the plan was presented before the government. The shareholders expressed satisfaction on the PIA administration measures.
