Innocent pedestrian killed during police encounter in Faisalabad

An innocent pedestrian was dead on the spot during a police encounter in Faisalabad, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel on Wednesday.
According to the details, after receiving credible information about the presence of some notorious dacoits, a team from the Gulfashan Police Station raided an area located in the jurisdiction of the Nishatabad Police Station.
During a heavy exchange of fire between dacoits and police, one pedestrian died after receiving severe bullet wounds.
The dacoits escaped from the scene. Police cordoned off the entire area and started a search operation to apprehend the culprits.
Later, the dead man was identified as Nadir. Further investigation was underway.
