Father, daughter died, son seriously injured in road accident in Gujrat district

A man and his daughter were killed while his son was critically injured in a road accident in the Gujrat district, 24NewsHD TV reported on Thursday.

According to rescue sources, the accident took place near Guliana, where a motorcyclist travelling with his two children was hit by a speeding car coming from the opposite direction.

Police and rescue teams rushed to the scene after receiving information about the incident, while the driver of the car managed to flee, officials said.

Rescue personnel shifted the bodies of the deceased and the injured child to a hospital in Gujrat.

Doctors said the injured boy was in critical condition and was receiving medical treatment.
