Judge who sentenced Imran Khan made Special Judge Central-II, Islamabad

Additional District & Sessions Judge Humayun Dilawar has been appointed as the Special Judge Central-II, Islamabad, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to a notification issued on Monday, the posting of Judge Humayun Dilawar (BS-20) who sentenced Imran Khan in the Toshakhana case has been posted on a deputation basis for a period of three years or until further orders.

According to sources, Judge Hamayun Dilawar, previously assigned special duties at the Islamabad High Court, will now preside over judicial responsibilities in the newly established Special Court Central-II at the Judicial Complex in Islamabad.

This court is specifically designated for cases related to FIA cybercrimes and other legal matters.

Earlier there was only one court of Special Judge Central in the judicial complex.
