The National Assembly session was a brief affair on Friday as the House was adjourned soon after it commenced due to lack of interest shown by the lawmakers, reported 24NewsHD TV channel

Upon the request of Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, MNA Misbah Uddin led the House in offering prayers for the eternal peace of the departed soul. The members prayed that Allah Almighty grant the deceased highest ranks in Jannah and give strength to the bereaved family to bear the loss with fortitude.

The Opposition lawmakers then sought permission to speak but it was declined by the speaker. They then pointed out lack of quorum twice after which they speaker directed counting of heads which proved the Opposition’s point.

The NA speaker then adjourned the House to meet again on Monday (December 1) at 5:00 pm.
