Veteran actor Shaan Shahid is going to surprise his fans with an upcoming song with leading singer Shafqat Amanat Ali. 

Taking to Twitter, the actor shared a video clip and wrote, "The love for Pakistan runs in my veins. It mixes in the ink of my pen and spreads in the voice of our legends."

"A love song for the country written by #shaanshahid and sung by #shafqatAmanatAli coming soon," he announced, revealing the song's title, Tairay Ishq Dai Char Gaye Rang Watna.

Earlier, Shaan Shahid called Turkish drama series ‘Ertugrul Ghazi’ as a masterpiece. In a statement, the actor said that content like Ertugrul Ghazi must also be made in Pakistan so that the new generation can get information about the history of Islam. 

He further said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is the last hope of democracy.

In an interview with Arab News, the Yalghaar star also shared his two cents on the ban on content produced by privately owned channels by PEMRA.

“These are private channels. You can’t control the content of private channels. They will make what they think is right,” he said. “But you’ve got a channel that’s beyond satellite."

“If PTV was producing what the Prime Minister thinks should be produced... I want to see that content. I don’t know who’s doing the programming in PTV, but whoever it needs to wake up and do his job.” He further added.
