Govt reappoints Rafique Ahmad Sheikh as member NEPRA, Sindh

On the recommendation of the Sindh government, the federal government on Friday reappointed Rafique Ahmad Sheikh as member the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA), Sindh, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Quoting its sources, the channel reported that in this regard the Cabinet Division had sent a summary to the federal cabinet, which the latter approved. 

Sources disclosed that Sheikh, whose second term in office would commence from December 6, 2022, had been appointed for a period of three years.  

Sheikh’s first four-year term as member NEPRA would complete on December 5, 2022.
