Food Panda delivery boy crushed to death by dumper in Lahore

A young man died on the spot when a speeding dumper crushed him in Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

The incident occurred near Garden Town Underpass Lahore.

The deceased was identified as Faizan, who was 19 years old and a resident of Rehmanpura. The young man was working as a delivery boy for Food Panda.

Soon after the incident, the dumper driver escaped from the scene.

Police said that a search operation to arrest the dumper driver was under way. They were also using CCTV footage for identification.

Dacoits commit robbery in Nishtar Town

Dacoits robbed 55 tolas of gold, 800 UAE dirhams and watches from a house of a woman in Nishtar Town area of Lahore.

The husband of Khursheed was residing in Dubai for employment.

At the time of the robbery, the woman was in Islamabad to meet her relatives.

Police said that the woman’s mother-in-law and domestic workers were present in the house.

The woman suspected her employees of theft. Police, after registering a case, started an investigation.
