Pakistan opt to field first against South Africa in T20I opener

Pakistan won the toss and elected to field first in the opening T20 International of the series against South Africa at Rawalpindi on Tuesday.

The decision by the Pakistan captain, Salman Ali Agha, came amid favorable bowling conditions, with hopes of restricting the visitors to a manageable total early on.

The match carries special significance beyond cricket, as both teams are supporting the breast cancer awareness campaign.

The Pakistan team is wearing a special pink-colored kit, while the South African players and match officials have taken the field wearing pink ribbons to express solidarity with the cause.
