Police in Balochistan foil terror attack on police, Levies stations

Police in Bhag area of district Kacchi of Balochistan on Tuesday killed two terrorists besides injuring three others, who had attacked two stations; one of police, the other of Levies, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

As many as 40 to 50 miscreants attacked two stations.

According SSP Kacchi Maazur Rehman, the attackers also took away weapons with them besides destroying the record kept at these stations.

The SSP further said that the assailants also stormed a branch of the National Bank, situated opposite to one of these stations. “However, due to timely response by the policemen deployed at the bank, the miscreants failed to loot cash from the bank,” he informed.

Maaz elaborated that SHO Lutf Ali Khosa was martyred in the attack, while another was injured.

Balochistan CM Bugti extols forces

Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti has paid rich tributes to the police and Levies for fighting bravely against the miscreants.

He has also paid homage to SHO Khosa, who laid down his life while fighting against the attackers.

The chief minister has prayed for the speedy recovery of injured cop Muhammad Azam.

He has said that by laying down their lives, the security forces’ personnel have foiled an attempt made by miscreants to destabilize the province.

Bugti has further said that the operations being carried out against terrorists in the province are aimed at enforcing the writ of the state and protect lives and properties of the people. “The war against terrorism will continue till the elimination of last terrorist,” he has said, adding those who were bent upon destroying peace of the province would be taken to the task. “The sacrifices given by the security forces’ personnel are a matter of pride for the nation. And we will look after their families.”
