The federal cabinet approved the rules related to the social media as the government has decided to take major decision to crackdown on social media, reported 24NewsHD TV on Tuesday.

As the social media companies have to work under the standard set by the Pakistani authority. Government agrees to share rules with international social media companies.

The social media would be permitted to work within the established government rules and regulations.
