Journalists' strong reaction to Imran Khan’s audio leak

Senior journalists Wednesday reacted to the alleged audio leak of former Prime Minister Imran Khan in which he is making a narrative on cypher with his secretary Azam Khan.

Hamid Mir:

Senior journalist Hamid Mir wrote in his tweet, "The story of Imran Khan's game in his own words." It should be noted that Hamid Mir had revealed it five months ago that the letter is not genuine.

Hamid Mir revealed that the text sent by the diplomat was rewritten in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and some words were added to the text. He revealed 5 months ago that the letter also contains an element of forgery.

Saleem Safi:

Salim Safi wrote in his Twitter message, "As a result of Imran's fabricated conspiracy theory, Pakistan's relations with the entire West have deteriorated. The Ambassadors were disgraced. No one in the world talks heart to heart with Pakistani ambassadors anymore. This theory has destroyed Pakistan diplomatically and as a result, economically also. Every forum must be accounted for." He added that "I have been warning for years that the captain is a great player but no one was willing to believe. Now it will be understood how great a player he is and how he brought all the players together."

Gharidah Farooqi:

Senior journalist Gharidah Farooqi, while reacting to Imran Khan's audio leak, said, "Cypher's false narrative of conspiracy dying its own death! How a normal Cypher was used for political purposes, not only paralyzing the country but also National security, foreign relations and the entire system were put at risk." He shared this message from his Twitter account. She further said that "It is as if PTI has accepted that the audio is real from Imran Khan and Azam Khan and the sitting Prime Minister sitting in his office prepared a conspiracy with the state employees and the institutions/heads of the state of Pakistan against Pakistan. Awesome!

Syed Talat Hussain:

Syed Talat Hussain wrote in his message that "Imran sat in his office and as PM created a destructive falsehood of external conspiracy, and planned to release and implement this disgraceful plot. Shah Mehmood was a central part of the fiction. If this is not national security breach dont know what is.

Ansar Abbasi: 

Ansar Abbasi said in his message that "On July 4, I wrote in my column published in Jang, "There is an alleged audio in which Imran Khan, talking to his Principal Secretary Azam Khan during the last days of his Prime Minister-ship refers to the Cypher and says "Let's play with it."
