Police arrest Vigo Dala riders who tried to crush traffic officer

All three persons, who were travelling in a Vigo Dala, which had hit a traffic officer in an attempt to run over him while he was on duty in Islamabad late Saturday night, were arrested on Sunday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Their vehicle was also impounded and locked up at Kohsar police station.
A case was registered on the instructions of Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Captain (r) Hamza Humayun, who had taken notice of the incident.
The suspects were arrested due to the joint efforts made by the traffic police and CIA teams.
The CTO himself supervised the operation by sitting in the Safe City Control Room.
