Russia’s Foreign Minister (FM) Sergey Lavrov has congratulated Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on taking oath as the country’s foreign minister, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday. 

Lavrov also extended an invitation to his Pakistani counterpart to visit Russia. 

Russia’s foreign minister conveyed to Bilawal his country’s desire to take steps to strengthen the bilateral ties. 

In response, Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto thanks Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov for his congratulatory message.

Bilawal said Pakistan wants to maintain positive momentum in bilateral relations. He said both the countries also play their role in peace and stability.
