The funeral prayers for the martyred soldiers were offered at their respective hometowns, ISPR reported on Saturday.

They were laid to rest with full military honours, it said, adding that people from various walks of life,  civil and military officials, family and friends attended the funerals.

Naib Subedar Taj Mir (age 40, resident of District Nowshera), Havaldar Zakir Ahmed (age 38, resident of District Abbottabad) and Sepoy Abid Hussain (age 29, resident of District DIK) embraced martyrdom while fighting gallantly with terrorists in Lakki Marwat

ISPR reiterated the anti-terror resolve and paid homage to the fallen heroes. "These sacrifices only strengthen our resolve to eliminate terrorism from Pakistan," it added.
