Bid to smuggle 960 liters of diesel foiled in Ubauro

After receiving credible information from sensitive departments, police thwarted an attempt to smuggle more than 960 litres of diesel worth millions of rupees and arrested two accused, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel on Wednesday.
Police said that the accused were involved in supplying diesel after stealing from different petrol tankers.
The arrested accused were later identified as Ghulam Shabbir and Mehboob Ali Bhio. Police also impounded 9 drums, a plastic tank, a generator, and other goods.
Police said that a case is already registered against the accused, and further investigation is underway.
