PM Shehbaz convenes key cabinet meeting on regional, economic issues

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has convened an important meeting of the federal cabinet to be held today at the Prime Minister’s House, according to official sources.

The meeting, scheduled for 11:30 am, will deliberate on the evolving regional situation, with a likely briefing on Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts regarding the Iran-US ceasefire and ongoing negotiations.

Sources said the cabinet is also expected to review the country’s energy and fuel supply situation, alongside broader discussions on the economic and political landscape.

Key national decisions are anticipated during the session, while decisions taken by various cabinet committees will be presented for ratification.

In addition, summaries from different ministries and divisions will be placed before the cabinet for approval.

The Cabinet Division has formally notified cabinet members about the meeting, sources added.
