Pakistan’s Javelin ace Arshad Nadeem after the triumph will be returning to Lahore on the 12am flight on Monday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Arshad Nadeem became the first Pakistani to score silver medal for Javelin throw in the World Athletics Championship. The star athlete threw the javelin 87.82 meters and scored the silver medal while the gold was won by his Indian counterpart who managed to throw the javelin half-meter farther.

Out of the six throws that Arshad took, the 87.82m throw made him victorious.

The family and the neighbors of the champ in Mian Channu were very joyous and delighted over the news of Arshad’s win. His mother was very grateful to God for this victory of the whole nation.
