The process of appointing parliamentary secretaries in the Punjab Assembly has finally been completed as Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz approved the appointment of 25 MPAs as Parliamentary Secretaries, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

According to report 24 parliamentary secretaries belong to the ruling party Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) and one belongs to the coalition party Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).

Five women members of Punjab Assembly have also been appointed as Parliamentary Secretary.

Chief Minister Punjab’s Principal Secretary Sajid Zafar Dal has issued notification for the appointment of all parliamentary secretaries.

According to notification, MPA Usama Leghari will be the Parliamentary Secretary for Agriculture Department while Malik Iftikhar Ahmed will be the Parliamentary Secretary for Religious Affairs.

Moreover, Sultan Haider Ali Khan Chief Minister Inspection Team while Mian Muhammad Shoaib Abbasi appointed as Parliamentary Secretary of Board of Revenue.

Mansoor Azam, Energy Department, while Shehryar Malik, Excise Department, Parliamentary Secretary appointed and Malik Waheed has been appointed Parliamentary Secretary for Food Department.

Muhammad Ajmal Khan has been given the Higher Education Department and Sultan Bajwa has been given the Housing, Urban Development and Public Health Engineering Department.

Sonia Asher appointed Parliamentary Secretary for Human Rights and Minority Affairs.

Department of Industry, Commerce, Investment and Skills Development were allotted to Hasan Askari Sheikh.

Shazia Rizwan Information and Culture while Sahibzada Muhammad Gazin Abbasi has been appointed as Parliamentary Secretaries of Labour and Human Development Departments.

Khalid Mahmood Ranjha has been nominated for the Department of Law and Parliamentary Affairs and Khurram Khan will work for the Departments of Local Government and Community Development.

Parliamentary Secretaries Muhammad Zubair Khan has been given the Department of Minerals while Rana Muhammad Tariq Khan has been given the Department of Planning and Development.

Appointment of Ziaullah Shah as Parliamentary Secretary in Department of Punjab Emergency Services and Nosheen Adnan in Department of School Education.

Mian Shahid Hussain Khan will be the Parliamentary Secretary of Services and General Administration Department.

Chaudhry Arshad Javed Waraich has been appointed as Parliamentary Secretary for Social Welfare and Treasury and Rushda Lodhi for Specialized Health Care and Medical Education Departments.

Taimoor Ali Lali has been appointed as Parliamentary Secretary in Transport and Mass Transit Department while Muhammad Anas Mahmood has been appointed as Parliamentary Secretary in Youth Affairs and Sports Department.

Salmi Sadia Taimur will look after matters in the Department of Women Development as Parliamentary Secretary.
