10 dead in Talangang, Muzaffargarh, Khairpur road accidents
Ten people lost their lives and nine seriously injured in different road accidents in Talagang, Muzaffargarh and Khairpur, reported 24NewsHD TV channel Friday.
The first road accident took place in Mial Ada of Talagang, in which two people died and six received injuries when an APC van collided with a Suzuki van after the driver of the vehicle lost control due to over-speeding.
All the dead people are residents of the village Latey. Soon after the incident Rescue 1122 team rushed to the spot and shifted the dead and injured persons to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital (THQ) in Talagang.
In the second accident, three people of the same family died and three were injured when a speedy trailer hit a motorcycle loader rickshaw at Multan Road in Muzaffargarh.
Rescue sources said that soon after the accident, the driver of the trailer escaped from the scene.
Later, the rescue team shifted the dead and injured persons to the nearby hospital.
In the third accident in Khairpur, a speedy trailer crushed four people including two women to death.
The identity of the dead persons was still unknown. Soon after the accident, local police reached the site and shifted the dead bodies to Taluka Hospital.
In another accident in Kot Digi, one person died when a trailer hit the car. The accident occurred due to speeding.
Later, the police shifted the dead bodies to the hospital.
