Punjab Boxing Association re-elects Abid Boxer as president

The General Body meeting of the Punjab Boxing Association was held here on Friday to elect new office-bearers for the next four years, during which prominent boxer Abid Boxer was re-elected as president of the association, 24NewsHD TV reported.  

Shoaib Sharjeel Zia Butt was chosen for the position of Secretary General, while Muhammad Tariq Gujjar was elected as the Treasurer.

For the role of Associate Secretary, the body selected Abdul Jabbar.

Chaudhry Mutasim will serve as the Chairman of the Punjab Boxing Association.

The newly elected leadership has pledged to continue working for the promotion of boxing in Punjab, aiming to provide better opportunities and facilities for young athletes across the province.

The meeting also witnessed representation from key sports bodies, with Zulfiqar participating on behalf of the Sports Board and Rehan Hameed representing Punjab Olympics.
