Global music icon Taylor Swift made her first public appearance with fiancé Travis Kelce following their engagement announcement earlier this week, drawing attention with a dazzling diamond ring.

The 35-year-old, who has won 14 Grammy Awards, attended a college football game at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City on Thursday night. She was joined by Kelce, also 35, and his elder brother Jason Kelce, 37, to watch a match between the University of Cincinnati.

Swift was seen in a pleated blue mini skirt paired with a cream sweater vest, knee-high tan boots, and a small Celine handbag. While enjoying the game, cameras captured her holding a drink, prominently displaying her engagement ring, estimated to be worth between $700,000 and $1 million. Fans quickly reacted on social media, with many describing the ring as “huge” and “shiny.”

The couple confirmed their engagement earlier this week through a joint Instagram post, which featured photographs taken at Kelce’s Kansas home. Surrounded by floral decorations, the images showed Swift and Kelce in matching Ralph Lauren outfits. The caption playfully read: “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,” referencing their nickname “TnT.”

The proposal reportedly took place earlier in August, though the official announcement was delayed.
During the game, Swift was seated next to Travis, who wore a red-and-white striped polo shirt and a custom baseball cap, while his brother Jason sat to her left. Brittany Mahomes, wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, was also spotted with Swift at the stadium.

Swift’s ring, designed in an Old Mine Brilliant Cut, is believed to be from Kindred Lubeck at Artifex Fine Jewelry. Fans joked online that the jewel was “so shiny it might blind the players.”

The relationship between Swift and Kelce has been closely followed since September 2023, when the singer was first seen at a Chiefs game alongside Kelce’s mother, Donna.
