UK-based businessman presents Rs10m cheque to Naqvi for flood affectees

Pakistani businessman based in UK Waseem Aslam held a detailed meeting with Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and presented him a cheque of Rs10 million for the flood-affected people, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

During the meeting held in Islamabad on Friday, Mohsin Naqvi appreciated the humanitarian gesture of Waseem Aslam. He said that Pakistan is facing worst flooding in its history.

Mohsin Naqvi said that flood has severely affected the provinces of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Punjab. He said that the government is not leaving flood-affected people alone at this crucial time.

He said that millions of people became homeless due to the devastating floods. Mohsin Naqvi said that Waseem Aslam's financial aid will be deposited into the account of the PM’s flood relief fund.
