Four kids die after rickshaw falls into canal near Khairpur
The bodies of four children, who had died after a loader rickshaw carrying them fell into Kot Diji’s Mirwah Canal near Thari Mirwah, district Khairpur three days back, were recovered and handed over to their families on Saturday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The rescuers managed to retrieve all four bodies and shifted them to a hospital.
Three real brothers were among four children who had perished in the incident.
They were identified as Lahoti, Mir Muhammad, Muntazar Gopang and their cousin Junaid Gopang.
They were all aged between 8 and 12 years old.
Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah had also taken notice of the incident.
The rescue operation continued for three days.
MNA Nafeesa Shah visited the bereaved families and offered her condolences.
