Fakhar Zaman gets International Award from Canada

A prestigious Canadian organization, International Punjabi Forum has awarded a coveted award to Chairman World Punjabi Congress, Fakhar Zaman for his contribution to Punjabi language, literature and peace.
The award cites that Fakhar Zaman is a legendary writer who has got so many awards from Canada, India and Pakistan. A special ceremony will be held to commemorate the award early next year in Canada.
This may be recalled that Fakhar Zaman has recently received the highest Indian Punjabi award, Sahit Ratan & prior to that he had received Shiromani Sahit Award.
At home Fakhar Zaman has been conferred upon Hilal e Imtiaz & Sitara e Imtiaz. It may be recalled that the World Punjabi Congress is holding a 31st International World Peace conference in Lahore in March 2022, which will be attended by more than 100 delegates from India and a number of delegates from other countries.
Chairman WPC has said that he is grateful to the Canadian organization and he will do his best to promote Punjabi language at home and abroad. It may be mentioned here that Fakhar Zaman writes in three languages, English, Urdu and Punjabi and has authored forty books so far. Dozens of thesis have been written especially in India on his novels and poetry. His Punjabi writings have been translated into many languages of the world.
