Hanging electricity wires in Ahbab Colony threat to citizens lives

December 30, 2021 10:33 AM

Residents of the Ahbab Colony located at Multan Road in Lahore have demanded Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) repair the local transformer.

They also urged the company to remove the hanging wires to avoid life threats of the passersby as one youth has already died after getting an electric shock.

The residents warned the LESCO administration to stage a sit-in in front of the WAPDA headquarters if their demand would not be fulfilled urgently.

They said they had already given several applications to the concerned Wapda officials, LESCO Chief, XEN and SDO but no action has been taken.
