Amnesty for illegal foreigners in Pakistan to end on Dec 31

The amnesty for foreigners residing illegally in Pakistan will end on December 31 as the Ministry of Interior has sent a letter to NADRA to end this amnesty scheme.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, from January 1, 2023, fines will collect from foreign residents who are overstayed here in Pakistan.
After the amnesty scheme expires, those who overstay for more than one year will be blacklisted and NADRA will charge a penalty amount to them.
The Ministry of Interior issued a scheme for foreigners residing illegally in Pakistan from July 29 of this year.
Under the amnesty scheme, foreigners did not have to pay huge fines to leave Pakistan but now this relief will be ended on Dec 31, 2022.
