UK under the grip of inflation; workers on strike   

The UK has been under the grip of inflation and the employees of its major departments have been on protest for pay raise, job security and other job-related benefits 

The protesters include nurses, ambulance workers, personnel of the border force, airport crew; postal workers, drivers, driving examiners, teachers, university and college staff and officials of public and commercial services. Their basic demand is due to pay raises and ensuring job-related benefits.

Reported, the unions and association of workers have threatened to continue the protest and announced a strike schedule
