Baqai Medical University founder Zahida Baqai dies

Eminent educationist and founder of Baqai Medical University, Karachi Professor Zahida Baqai died in Karachi on Monday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The news of her death came as a shock for the people belonging to teaching and medical professions.

Zahida was a visionary person who founded the medical university and hence translated a dream into a reality.

Her services in the field of medical sciences will be remembered for ever as she trained thousands of students.

The deceased will be buried in a graveyard near the Super Highway Toll Plaza at 4:30 PM today.

Those wishing to offer her funeral prayers were asked to congregate at her home, 136-B North Nazimabad.

Her body was taken from her home to the graveyard at 3:00 PM.

Transport was also arranged for the participants of her funeral.
