Railway Minister Hanif Abbasi offers job to son of blind porter Akbar Ali Jamali
Federal Minister for Railways Hanif Abbasi has taken notice of a viral video highlighting the struggles of a blind porter, namely Akbar Ali Jamali, who has been serving passengers at Jacobabad Railway Station, 24NewsHD TV reported.
Acting on humanitarian grounds, Minister Abbasi approved Jamali’s appeal and announced a job for his son in Pakistan Railways. Additionally, he pledged to personally fund treatment options for Jamali’s eyes.

Abbasi has also invited Akbar Ali Jamali to the Ministry of Railways to personally oversee the financial assistance and his son’s employment process.
Akbar Ali Jamali has been supporting his family for years by carrying passengers’ luggage with the help of his young daughter.
The viral video showcasing his daily struggles garnered widespread public attention and prompted the minister’s swift response.
